UV rays are one of the leading causes of premature aging. According to the EPA, 90 percent of the visible changes associated with aging comes from the sun. Known as photo-aging, this is one issue that African-Americans do not take seriously enough. The sun’s effects are not as drastic on our skin as on that of Caucasians and realizing this results in a false sense of security and in reckless habits.
