4 Reasons Grand Teton Is The Perfect Place To Relax & Unwind

Have you ever been to a National Park? There are over 400 in the United States! I had a chance to explore Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming and was mesmerized by the beauty of this hidden gem.

You can explore parks around the world and create your own park adventure by going to findyourpark.com. The National Park Service and National Park Foundation launched the #findyourpark initiative in 2015 to help people connect with America's natural, historical, and cultural landmarks.

If you’re seeking to live your best life and return home better than ever before, visit the wild wonders of Grand Teton National Park and add these activities to your list.

1. Hiking In Jenny Lake

Have you ever been hiking before? This is one experience you have to take advantage of if you’re in Grand Teton National Park! Just head on over to Jenny Lake if you’re looking for a rugged workout that will spoil you with breathtaking views.

2. Rafting In The Snake River

I always wanted to go rafting and Grand Teton National Park was the perfect place to make that dream come true. Before the rafting experience, the Grand Teton Lodge Company organized a delicious meal on the river and crafted the most flavorful vegan sandwich for me to try. Absolutely delicious! After the filling lunch options, I was ready to let my mind flow in the waters of the Snake River.

If I could replay the rafting experience, I would do it all over again right now. Our guide rowed past 10 miles of migratory birds, fishing ducks, bald eagles, and swampy rivers. In every direction, I couldn’t help but become fascinated by the many species of trees including the narrowleaf cottonwood, blue spruce, lodgepole pine, and conifer.

Our guide was knowledgeable about everything around us and I couldn’t help but feel like a student of life who was breathing the air that I was learning about.

3. Reflecting On Shadow Mountain

If you’re feeling stressed or burned out, the best gift you can give yourself is the opportunity to pause and reflect. There’s no better place to do that than Shadow Mountain.

Shadow Mountain is located a few miles east of Grand Teton National Park and you’ll get a chance to capture some of the best views of the Teton Mountains. Many tourists go there for a chance to camp and just take in the beauty of the mountains. I strongly recommend that you get a strong and durable car like a Subaru to take you up the rugged path to the mountains.

Take in the air around you, breathe, and listen to nature as it tells its’ own remarkable story. Sometimes the ability to do nothing at all can be more rejuvenating than a vacation filled with a bucket list of activities.

4. Relaxing At Spring Creek Ranch

When you’re ready to shut down and soak in luxury ranch amenities, you should check out Spring Creek Ranch. You’ll be greeted by the most spectacular views of the Teton Mountain Ranges while standing almost 1,000 feet above the town of Jackson.

The Spring Creek Ranch is like a modern-day log cabin with scenes from the wilderness plastered on the walls and a wild west inspired vibe. The best part about the Spring Creek Ranch stay is that you don’t even have to leave the area in order to have the experience of your life.

You can eat a hearty breakfast at The Granary or grab the best avocado toast in the west at Amangani. You can also schedule horseback riding activities that expose you to the most radiant views or take advantage of the 24-hour hot tub.

When you’re ready to explore the Grand Teton National Park, you can book your stay at Spring Creek Ranch here! Spring Creek Ranch is conveniently located on 1600 N. East Butte Rd in Jackson, Wyoming and you’ll have access to the shuttle service from the airport and scheduled shuttles to the town of Jackson.
