Yolanda Adams Is Looking To 105-Years-Old And Beyond
Award-winning gospel singer, record producer, actress, and radio host Yolanda Adams having more than a dozen studio albums, is celebrated as an accomplished singer all around the world. But many do not know that she’s also an accomplished advocate for health. By hosting health symposiums, conferences and community health awareness rallies, she not only speaks it but lives a healthy lifestyle too.
“We as women are wired to keep weight around our midsections for birthing purposes, so we have to be very, very careful of what we eat and how we exercise and all that,” she said on her syndicated radio program, The Yolanda Adams Morning Show.
“Every cell of your body needs water. Three quarters of your brain needs water,” cautions the 54-year-old Adams. “So when you don’t drink water, your brain is dry and dehydrated. You’re wondering why you can’t remember stuff. If you’re not drinking enough water, it leads to a whole bunch of problems, including dementia and inflammation.”
“It has been proven scientifically that water intake has so much to do with your body.”
