“We as women are wired to keep weight around our midsections for birthing purposes, so we have to be very, very careful of what we eat and how we exercise and all that,” she said on her syndicated radio program, The Yolanda Adams Morning Show which she still runs out of Houston, TX.

“Every cell of your body needs water. Three quarters of your brain needs water,” cautions the 57-year-old Adams. “So when you don’t drink water, your brain is dry and dehydrated. You’re wondering why you can’t remember stuff. If you’re not drinking enough water, it leads to a whole bunch of problems, including dementia and inflammation.”
