Travelers of color unite in Memphis, Tennessee in September to celebrate their creativity, influence, and community.  This festival is the first of its kind with something for every traveler of color.  The lineup of speakers includes an array of brown creatives, leaders, and influencers in every industry, spotlighting travel.  Festival-goers can dive into sessions about any type of travel of interest: luxury, culinary, self-care, adventure, and more.

If you missed the festival at its flagship in Brooklyn, catch it this fall in Atlanta.  Afropunk has made a name for itself across the globe as the Carnival of Consciousness.  The two-day arts festival includes an amazing line-up of live music and artists.  This inclusive crowd brings all the love, fashion, and punk you would imagine.

3. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

August 29 – November 3

One of the best ways to experience a country or a culture is through the native food.  Pair it with fine wine, live music, and Disney World—this magical festival is born.  This annual festival brings together the best cuisines and music from around the world and is fun for all ages.  Attendees indulge in cooking demonstrations, food and beverage pairings, and seminars while rubbing elbows with celebrity chefs.  This fest is for true foodies and global culture enthusiasts.

4. One Music Fest

September 7-8

This outdoor festival is the largest urban music festival in the Southeast United States.  The performance lineup is packed with progressive artists in Hip Hop, R&B, EDM, Reggae, Funk, Trap, House, and Soul—musical heaven, right?  Homegrown in Atlanta, this year marks the 10-year anniversary of its conception and it's not to be missed.

5. The State Fair of Texas

September 27 – October 20

State fairs are a true staple of Fall—this one just might be better than the rest.  This Dallas, TX fair is the largest and longest-running fair in America.  From attractions and rides to award-winning food, The State Fair of Texas has it all.  It’s the perfect place to welcome Fall.
