So, the blood cancers originate from the bone marrow. The bone marrow is the blood factory. Just like any other cell in the body; the prostate or the lung, the bone marrow cells can become cancerous, too.

There are three main calls made by the bone marrow: the red blood cells, the white blood cells, and the platelets. And there are immune system cells there: the lymphocytes and the plasma cells.
