So, we don’t really know how long people live with myeloma anymore. The reason is that the advancements have come quick, fast and furious over the past five to 10 years. Just last year, we had three drugs approved for multiple myeloma and in 2016 we had two new approvals.

So, with all of those advancements in the disease that have just happened, it’s now difficult to predict how long anyone would live because the options for treatment have expanded.
