It’s the holiday season! The snow is on the ground, the cold is the air, and the holiday shopping has begun. This is also a time when germs are spreading and sickness is at an all-time high. While shopping for gifts, many forget to take care of themselves and they catch the flu, a cold, and everything in between. Over-the-counter medicine can be pricey and can set you back $20-$30. With the holiday season upon us and the new year around the corner, you need to save as much money as you can, but also, you need to save yourself. In the spirit of not overspending, here are a few home/natural remedies to stay healthy or cure any illness this winter. Guarantee you won’t spend more than $8.

1. Garlic
