Pregnancy can be a beautiful moment in a woman’s life, but it is also physically and mentally demanding. In the process of creating a new life, some women can begin feeling unattractive or less desirable. After the baby arrives, those feelings can intensify and sometimes become overwhelming. If you are a woman with a desire to reclaim her sexy, here are seven tips to get you on the right track.

1. Reevaluate your diet.

Along with the joys of pregnancy come food cravings that can pack on pounds that will take a little work to burn off post delivery. After your hormones have settled and your appetite is yours to claim once again, revisit your diet plan and add some fresh fruits and veggies that are known to moisten yin (feminine) energy. Melons, berries, pineapples, leafy green vegetables and squashes are just a few of the foods from the earth known to maintain bodily pH and balance libido. Reclaiming your sexy first begins with nourishing your body from the inside.

2. Pamper yourself.

Whether setting an appointment for a spa day or creating your own spa day at home, take the time to put your feet up and relax with a facial mask, a body scrub and a soothing bath accompanied by candle light and soft music. If a massage therapist isn’t within your budget, put the hands of your significant other to work and request a relaxing rubdown. You are worth it.
