protein. Because older hairs fall out, this can lead to hair loss.
You can get protein from meat, and lean options like chicken or turkey. These options also have less saturated fat than sources like beef and pork.
Has your hair become dry and lost its shine? Sweet potatoes are your answer! They are filled with a good-for-you antioxidant called beta-carotene, which your body turns into vitamin A and helps protect against dry, dull hair.
It also encourages the glands in your scalp to make an oily fluid called sebum, which will keep your hair from drying out.
Not a fan of sweet potatoes? You can also find beta carotene in other orange vegetables like carrots, pumpkin, cantaloupe, and mangoes.
Next time you sit down for breakfast, try sprinkling some cinnamon on your oatmeal, toast, and in your coffee. It helps with blood flow, also called circulation, which brings oxygen and nutrients to your hair follicles.
