Burger King’s original dessert features vanilla soft serve ice cream, chocolate fudge, caramel and topped off with bacon crumbles toppings and a strip of bacon acts as the cherry on top for a sweet and salty ending. The dessert sundae has a whopping 510 calories, 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar. Do even need to tell you that this isn’t exactly the healthiest of restaurant choices?

The dessert first started in Nashville, Tenn. earlier this year, along with a selection of other limited-time summer goodies, as part of Burger King’s latest push to win back customers with a revived menu and reverse sliding market shares. This effort started soon after the company was taken private by the private equity firm 3G Capital in late 2010.
