… puckering at the armhole are all signs that a piece doesn’t fit. You should try and wear pieces that are tailored to your body shape and size.
4. Wear Things With A Purpose
Whether it’s just purely for aesthetics or not, make sure the clothing you are wearing has a reasonable purpose. For instance, if you want to wear the trendy track pants that have a waistband, understand that the band is meant for the design, not to stretch around a “problem” area in hopes to cover it up. So if you were considering purchasing some jeans with a waistband…back away now!
5. Baggy Vs. Oversized
The thing about this is that one is deliberate and the other is not. The baggy look is great when paired with a body-skimming piece. Oversized pieces swallow your figure and make you look like you are hiding and covering yourself.
6. Prints
Sometimes, prints can look too “busy”. Finding the right prints for your body shape is key. Larger-scaled prints look great on plus-size figures. Their boldness distract from any “problem areas” and make you look chic.
