Editor’s Pick: Delicious Smoothie Recipes that can Help Lower Cholesterol

Tropical Fruit Smoothie
Ready for a taste of the Islands without leaving home? This delicious and healthy Tropical Fruit Smoothie is a good source of fiber thanks to psyllium, mango and pineapple. This smoothie can be savored when you add Metamucil smooth orange powder.

INGREDIENTS
 ½ cup vanilla low-fat yogurt
 ½ medium peeled banana
 ½ cup mango juice or papaya juice
 ¼ cup pineapple juice
 1 rounded teaspoon of Metamucil Original Smooth Powder – or Meta
Appetite Control Smoothie Enhancer
 Crushed or cubed ice (1/2 cup)

PREPARATION
Blend yogurt, banana, juices, and the ice until the ice is crushed. Add Metamucil
and blend until mixed in. Garnish with your favorite tropical fruit!

strawberries. Add Sugar-Free Orange Smooth Powder to this delightful treat.

 1 cup whole frozen strawberries
 1 rounded teaspoon of Metamucil Original Smooth
