Dr. Jeannette Musset obtained a medical degree in Naturopathic medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM). Prior to medical school, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Indiana University in South Bend, Indiana.
Dr. Musset grew up surrounded by nature and learned to use natural remedies for minor ailments. She was introduced to naturopathic medicine and immediately knew it was her calling. In 2011, she moved to Arizona and enrolled at SCNM.
During medical school, she held numerous leadership positions and she was selected to serve on a prestigious health committee that endorsed the benefits of naturopathic medicine to the State Senate. In her first year, she worked with ASU Biodesign Infectious Diseases, investigating the use of antimicrobial botanicals against antibiotic resistant bacteria. In her fourth year of medical school, Dr. Musset’s research on food allergens and the correlation of asthma symptoms was published in the Global Health Advanced Medicine Journal.
During clinical rotations, Dr. Musset worked with patients at the walk-in HIV/AIDS clinic in Phoenix, Mission Mercy, River Source Addiction Clinic and Adelante Healthcare where she treated diabetes, allergies, asthma, fibromyalgia, HTN, joint pains and many more. She also volunteered in the Emergency Department of Phoenix Baptist Hospital. These rotations allowed her to treat a wide variety of patients, and also taught her the skills necessary to interface and work with the allopathic medical community.
Dr. Musset works with patients of by addressing the underlying cause and not just symptoms. She works with each person to create an individualized health program that is best for their lifestyle and budget, while employing cutting-edge natural therapies. She has special interest in natural pain management, cannabis certification, women's health, intimate wellness, and weight loss. She has extensive training in clinical nutrition, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Ozone therapy, PRP/stem cell injections, Botox injections for TMJ, headaches and cosmetics, Pharmaceutical Dependency/weaning, IV therapies (H2O2, amino acids, lipoic acid, DMSO, glutathione) and Botanical Medicine.
