Latest reports now state their daughter, Charisa, was among the fatalities.
Munroe, 60, was an internationally known Christian preacher and motivational speaker. He frequently appeared before mass audiences at Christian events with other widely known preachers, like Bishop T.D. Jakes and Bishop Eddie Long, and he was associated during the early 2000s with the Promise Keepers movement, a Christian ministry focused on strengthening the role of men in Christian life. He wrote or co-wrote more than 100 inspirational and motivational books, many of which were bestsellers in the Caribbean and Africa.
The plane crashed while making an approach for landing at Grand Bahama International Airport at 5.10 p.m., the Ministry of Transport and Aviation said. The crash killed all nine people on board the private jet. The identities of all the other people on board have not yet been confirmed.
