1. Remove the glue.
Over time, glue build up can warp the shape of your lashes strip. This will not only make the application more difficult, it will eventually make the lashes become uneven and weird looking. Try using tweezers to peel away the bits of glue that may be left over after removal. Be careful to only remove glue and not lash hairs!2. Rinse.
After you’ve pulled off the glue, fill a clean sink with a small amount of warm water and drop lashes in for about 30 seconds to a minute to loosen any mascara, eyeshadow or other potential makeup residue. If you are having a hard time removing the makeup try making the water hotter. If you don’t have artificial lashes be careful, as real fur/hair lashes can loose their curl from the heat.
3. Wipe down and sanitize.
If you are using artificial lashes sanitize them with plain rubbing alcohol. If you have real hair lashes try using a water-based makeup remover. This will clean the hair without drying it out. Start at the base and then move to the tip of the hairs wiping with a cotton swab or ball.
