Ice Cube, born O’Shea Jackson Sr., is an American rapper and actor. He began his career as a member of the hip-hop group C.I.A. and later joined the seminal rap group N.W.A. Ice Cube ventured into the realm of family films with 2005’s “Are We There Yet?” The sequel “Are We Done Yet?” was released in 2007, and a show based on the series debuted in 2010. Ice Cube was even a recurring character on the show.
“Straight Outta Compton,” which earned $60 million at the box office during its opening weekend, was America’s #1 movie for the third weekend in a row, making it one of the biggest-ever August releases.
