A recent study out of Sweden found that men who consumed very little dairy fat at the beginning of the study were more likely to be obese 12 years later. The men with a high dairy fat intake at the start were less likely to be obese 12 years later.

Researchers of the study didn’t speculate the reasons behind these surprising findings, however, experts suggest that although the fat in foods like whole milk add calories, they also help you feel fuller longer – which may lead you to consume fewer calories overall.
