Lizzo Claps Back At Fat-Shamers: “Minding Your Business is Free”

Lizzo

Lizzo is facing backlash yet again around fat shaming after a tweet about a recent performance went viral.

The original post judged the singer after doing a tribute to the late Tina Turner at a concert in Phoenix. The original tweet questioned the performer, stating “How is Lizzo still THIS fat when she’s moving this much on stage?! I wonder what she must be eating.

The Grammy Award-winning artist had no hesitation in responding to any critiques on social media. She sent out a number of tweets to talk about the post that ended up being retweeted 1000 times and liked by 21,000 people.

“I JUST logged on and the app and this is the type of s— I see about me on a daily basis. It’s really starting to make me hate the world. Then someone in the comments said I eat “lots of fast food” I LITERALLY STOPPED EATING FAST FOOD YEARS AGO… I’m tired of explaining myself all the time and I just wanna get on this app w/out seeing my name in some bull—“ she stated on Twitter.

This is what my body looks like even when I’m eating super clean and working out! Yall speak on s— y’all know NOTHING ABOUT and I’m starting to get heated.”

Despite the fact that the creator of the original post did not provide a response, numerous other devotees and Twitter users stood up for Lizzo.
