Losing weight can be challenging. But the important thing to remember, when embarking on your weight loss journey, is that you should be doing it for yourself, not others.
1. Was there a defining moment when you decided to lose weight?
My defining moment was in March 2014 when I decided to join a Health and Wellness business (It Works). That moment made me change my mindset for not only other people but, for my own health as well.
With the passing of my mother in 2009 from diabetes and my past health history of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disease and vertigo I was at a point in my life I had to make my health more important to me.
2. What was your biggest hurdle in trying to get and stay healthy?
My biggest hurdle in trying to get healthy was ME I was so afraid of going through the journey alone that is was days I didn’t go to the gym for the fear of being alone.
Changing my eating habits was also a hurdle for me too because I was so used to eating whatever I wanted.
My ultimate hurdle was pushing myself to surpass my own mindset limitations. My hurdle in staying healthy is just the temptation of life itself and knowing that it is so easy to revert back to old ways.

There are also others that are not very open to my change of my life that I am now embracing and I am OK with that.
4. What are some of your guilty pleasure foods?
MMM..lol my guilty pleasures are carbs-related foods like pizza and pasta but, I love sweets (chocolate)
