… their healthy journey would be if you drink alcohol, to cut down the alcoholic beverage intake. It makes a huge difference in your energy and decreases the sugar in your body that metabolizes as stored fat. Secondly, increase the amount of water and green leafy veggies in your diet & to aim for foods higher in protein as well in order to keep you fuller for longer periods of time. Lastly, incorporate a cardiovascular exercise routine in addition to lifting weights. Don’t be afraid to lift. No matter how light you start, the body will adjust and you’ll keep learning and keep making improvements. Jump into those fitness classes that challenge you, work at your pace and give it all you got!
BDO: What’s next for you?
Bri: What’s next for me is becoming a nutritionist in addition to my career in order to assist ppl who aren’t sure as to where to begin in their health/ wellness journey start a new life that isn’t restrictive and prevents debilitating diseases. Additionally, my dream is to compete in a Women’s Figure Competition that may be fall of 2016 or Spring 2017. I’m pushing for this goal and I’m pretty confident I’ll get there. Mind over Matter.
