#WhiteCoatWednesday: Dr. Kelly N. Wood

Black women only make up about 3% of the medical workforce, but that doesn’t limit the tremedous impact they have on the healthcare industry.

This #WhiteCoatWednesday, BDO would like to highlight, the beautiful and talented Dr. Kelly N. Wood, MD who recently made a guest appearance on BDO’s Facebook live series “Black History of Health”  to provide information and tips on living with diabetes.

Dr. Kelly N. Wood, MD is an internal medicine physician, board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

She earned her medical degree from The University of the West Indies in Barbados before relocating to the United States in 2006. Dr. Kelly is currently in clinical practice in Atlanta, Georgia.
