She lost a whopping 66 pounds and shares her workouts and inspiration with others who want to accomplish those same goals. She’s truly an inspiration and loves helping others. “The thing I hear the most from people is that I look like a new person,“ Obaa explains on her instagram. “I agree, since I often don’t recognize myself when I pass a mirror 🤣🤣 but more important than that, I FEEL like a new person! I feel like the person I had longed to be all those years I was overweight.” P.S Losing weight isn’t just about eating right or exercising. It’s about finding a balance between the two, and setting attainable goals. Start with small goals and celebrate your progress along the way. For me, accountability is key, I use social media to keep myself accountable for what I’m eating, ensuring I’m exercising and doing weekly weigh-ins 💯! You will have your ups and downs along the line, it’s so normal and we all go through that everyday.”
“Personally, I have a binge-eating problem and realized that I have a bad relationship with food. When I get stressed out, I like to eat. I still struggle with this every day. To anyone trying to be the best version of themselves, just know that Weight loss is a process, and it won’t happen overnight. You didn’t gain it overnight, it won’t come off overnight. Just take it one day at a time.”
“Just because you have failed to lose weight in the past doesn’t mean you can never lose weight. What’s important is for you to keep learning about your body and how your mind works.”
