…But Have You Tried Grapefruit Juice For It?

grapefruit“I’ve tried everything!”  How many times have you said that in frustration? Over-the-counter medicines…under the counter and in the cabinet home remedies…the new hot diet….the OLD hot diet. Maybe you really have tried just about everything to fix what ails you, but have you tried grapefruit juice?

The tart taste may not exactly be your flavor, but I bet if you knew all the many benefits in a cup of fresh grapefruit juice the truth would be a lot easier to swallow. Grapefruit juice has been shown to work wonders for everything from diabetes to insomnia, to having glowing skin.

Cancer: The antioxidant properties in vitamin E found in grapefruit juice help fight free radicals in the body that cause various types of cancers like lung, skin, prostrate and colon.

Cholesterol: A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry found that red and blond grapefruits can reduce blood levels of LDL (“bad”) cholesterol. Red grapefruits were also found to lower triglycerides.
