The Confidence In Going Gray & Trying New Things

going gray

What comes naturally is something desired. For many, the day when your pepper begins to appear more like it has salt in it is the day they fear the most. It’s interesting to note that today’s youth are willing to spend hundreds of dollars to get the ideal silver hair. You should follow their lead and learn to love your new hue.

Embracing Older Age

Gray hairs are a blatant manifestation of a deficiency of melanin. Graying hair is a normal and accepted part of the aging process. Plus, some people’s onset of this process may be sooner than others. It’s not unusual to see your first gray hair before you reach your twenties or thirties since your genetics also influence this process.

Coloring your gray hair may give you a youthful glow but also increases your risk of hair loss, breakage, split ends, and frizz if you do it too often. But if you change your mind about getting older and start enjoying it, you may be pleasantly surprised by the results.

What Mentality Do You Have To Have?

The decision to start graying is very personal. Introspection is required since only you can choose the appropriate time. It’s OK to pull out once you’ve already committed.

Many people’s pupils will dilate as they take this in. Or nasty words could be said. Or they’re too preoccupied with your hair to see your face. It might be overwhelming emotionally if you aren’t prepared for it. Settle things up with your inner self.

A small bit of body armor is required, along with the understanding that it will not be flawless at first. Have patience, realize that only you can determine your own attractiveness, and love yourself anyway.

When compared to the norm, the contrast might make you feel as if you are laying your whole soul bare to the world. The experience is quite humbling.

The Gray Giving Confidence & Empowerment

The minute you accept your gray is when you have confidence. Knowing that you are being truly yourself is a great relief. Some claim they are the youngest they will ever be in their lives right now, so why not appreciate the benefits, do what you want, and not be scared to accept challenges?
