I’m sure you’ve always wanted to know why are your balls so wrinkly? We got you. Ever wanted to know why your testicles tend to hide? We got you. We hope you’ll fall in love with your balls after reading this article.
You’re Calling It The Wrong Thing…STOP
Many men think that using the terms “balls” and “testicles” interchangeably is correct. Wrong answer. Balls are actually comprised of three things: the scrotum, testicles, and the epididymides.
The scrotum is the fleshy skin sac that houses the testicles. The testicles refer to the oval-shaped organs that rest inside of your scrotum. The epididymides are attached to the tests and are responsible for transporting your sperm. You’re welcome.
Let ‘Em Hang
If you have ever been around a group of guys you might have heard the phrase “let your nuts hang”. This can mean a variety of things depending on the situation, the inflection in one’s voice or the person. In science when your balls start to hang it means that your body is getting too warm.
If you notice when it’s cold outside your scrotum tends to shrivel to preserve heat. The opposite happens when you get hot. It’s your body’s way of releasing extra heat. Next time you’re hot look at your precious marbles and tell me if you don’t see a difference.
Ummm They’re Not the Same Size
Don’t worry fellas it is completely normal that your balls aren’t the same size. In fact, the right testicle is usually larger than the one on your left side. You’ll also be happy to know that out of all the creations in the world humans have the smallest balls.
Maybe you won’t be happy, but at least you know now. Scientists believe that bigger balls are correlated with mate competition. In the animal world when a woman is likely to have more than one mate the potential mates are likely to have bigger balls. Things that make you hmmmm… Check out what Martin Lawrence had to say about balls
Traveling. Not to Be Associated With Basketball.
No, we’re not talking about the move that James Harden does every four plays he goes to the basket. That’s called “traveling”. We’re talking about the magical expedition that your right ball takes upwards to the left one at the moment right before ejaculation.
Testicular Cancer
This type of cancer isn’t common, but itcan happen. It happens to 1/270 men. A routine check for hard lumps, abnormal growths, or anything that looks irregular in your scrotal area should be checked out. Testicular cancer can be cured if caught early. Testicular cancer is when the cells inside in the testicle divide abnormally and create a tumor. You might also notice the following symptoms:
- enlarged or swollen testicles that may or may not be painful,
- achy, heavy feelings in the lower back, groin or stomach regions
It’s best to perform your routine check in the shower. Cup your balls and softly rub one testicle at a time using your thumb and index finger. Your actual testicle, not the scrotum should feel smooth. Consult your doctor if you find anything out of that norm.
