Who actually even uses those tiny sponge brushes anyways? I always felt like those brushes were just a sad excuse that makeup companies felt they had to give as a way to say we gave you something to apply it with! Most of us makeup lovers have a nice investment in our makeup brushes anyway, but before you go tossing those little free utensils, you may find that they are worthy of keeping.
Glitter Up
If you love glitter, then you probably loathe the mess that it makes. Those tiny little sponge brushes are perfect for a glitter application. This way you can use them one time and toss them. Using your expensive brushes with glitter can be a nightmare. No amount of cleansing is going to ever get rid of that sparkle. Sounds like a disaster for your following attempt at natural beat face!Blend Away
These little babies are great for blending that smokey eye ever so perfectly! They are really good for this because you can pack on the color easily, and they offer a smooth finish and control due to their small applicator. They allow you to really focus on the details.
Skin Care
These brushes are great as skin care applicators. It never hurt anyone to find a non-traditional way to use something. Unfortunately, many of us are guilty of believing that the more we use a product the faster or better it will work. The truth of the matter is that this is wrong. The more you use a product the faster you run out of it! These small sponge brushes are great for controlled application of our most-beloved and pricey products. It also keeps your products from getting contaminated. If you have sensitive skin like me, any bit of bacteria will cause your skin to flare up with acne, dry spots and/or rashes.
Emergency Touch Ups
Keep a few of these brushes in your purse. You never know when you are on the go and you may need to smooth your makeup back into its proper place, or you need to add a bit more shimmer and color where it seems to be fading. These are a great option for traveling and moving around during the day. Now, you don’t have to take those $100 brushes out of the house!
