The boutique fitness industry has been growing over the past few years offering clients new concepts, outstanding fitness experiences, and a sense of exclusivity. There has been specialized yoga, cycle bar, group fitness, and Pilates. There are many options to chose from that fit everyone’s lifestyle. The newest of the boutique fitness studio concepts is Hotworx.
Hotworx is a virtually instructed exercise program created for members to experience a 3D training workout in 15 or 30 minutes. The 3D training includes heat, infrared energy, and exercise. Each session is done in a sixty-three square foot sauna and members can choose to do a 15-minute HIIT workout or a 30-minute isometric session.
What is 3D training and what is isometrics?
Hotworx 3D training is heat, infrared energy, and exercise.
Heat
When the core body temperature rises, there is an anabolic effect that speeds up your metabolism. Heated workouts also require less warm-up time.
Infrared
Infrared energy helps to strengthen and activate the regenerative process of the body. Infrared energy also helps in accelerating workout recovery.
Exercise
Hotworx offers two forms of exercises; Isometrics and HIIT. Both are done in an infrared sauna. Isometrics are exercises done in static positions; using methods like yoga and Pilates. The isometrics sessions are 30 minutes. The High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) are 15-minute sessions and include cycle and row.
Hotworx allows you tomaximize your workout in less time. Imagine getting the same workout from an hour session in 15 or 30 minutes. You can set your sauna to the temperature of your liking, but 120-125 degrees is typically recommended,
What workouts does Hotworx offer?
Each location varies, however, you can expect small group workouts with up to 3 users for isometrics and cycle and up to 2 users for row.

The instructors also offer alternative positions for those who may struggle. While there is no music, the virtual instructors keep you so focused that you don’t feel the need to listen to music.
