Are you heading to Wyoming to check the Grand Teton National Park off your travel bucket list?
If you’re going to be swept off your feet by the spectacular mountain views that the park provides, I’m sure you’ll want more of that naturized magic during your lodging experience. Do yourself a favor and explore the wild side of Wyoming at Spring Creek Ranch!
Spring Creek Ranch is a luxury resort in Jackson, Wyoming that stands almost 1,000 feet above the town of Jackson on a wildlife sanctuary that you have to experience for at least three nights. I stayed at the Ranch for four nights in September and only had a chance to indulge in 30% of the activities and amenities that were offered. That just means I’ll probably need another trip!
Spring Creek Ranch offers guests the choice of Townhouses, Inn Rooms, or Mountain Villas. When I turned the key to enter my townhouse lodge, I felt like a different person who was tapping into a new level of life. My mind quickly turned off my city life familiarities and embraced the Bear country theme of the lodge.
The accommodations were riveting. It was unlike anything I had ever witnessed before and definitely exceeded my expectations of what “ranch living” would be like. I felt like I was in a movie scene of a futuristic log cabin. The townhouse included a living room and bedroom that were connected by a spacious bathroom with his and her sinks and bear-engraved shower curtains.
If you want to bring home late-night snacks, you’ll find a refrigerator and microwave conveniently located in a closed closet door of the bathroom. Then you’ll be able to cuddle in the living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a sofa bed that’s discreetly planted in the walls. There’s also a balcony right outside of the living room for you to stare at all the beauty around you and just smile in awe of it all.
If you’re someone who likes to get your day started with a hearty breakfast, you won’t be disappointed by these two restaurants on the ranch: The Granary and Amangani. I was lusting over the Cowboy Trout which consisted of Grilled Idaho Trout, grits, red-eye gravy, two eggs, biscuit or toast at The Granary. It was absolutely delicious! When I dined at Amangani, my vegan preferences led me to the Avocado Toast which consisted of pea tendril, radish, and chili oil with a side of fruit. If I questioned the power of Avocado Toast before, I’m a true believer now!
When you’re ready to burn some calories, there are tons of activities to immerse yourself in without even leaving the ranch.
You can also schedule horseback riding activities that expose you to the most radiant views or take advantage of the 24-hour hot tub. Feeling adventurous? Just check out the list of activities that you can embark upon on the website. When you’re ready to explore the Grand Teton National Park, you can book your stay here! Spring Creek Ranch is conveniently located on 1600 N. East Butte Rd in Jackson, Wyoming and you’ll have access to the shuttle service from the airport and scheduled shuttles to the town of Jackson.
