Dr. Monique Gary, also known as “Dr. Mo,” is a breast surgeon and wellness advocate. She serves as the Medical Director of the cancer and breast program at Grand View Health/Penn Cancer Network. Dr. Gary is dedicated to addressing health disparities for marginalized communities and promoting holistic wellness.
Dr. Bayo Curry-Winchell (Dr. BCW)
Dr. Bayo Curry-Winchell, also known as Dr. BCW, is a board-certified physician dedicated to health equity and community well-being. She serves as the Medical Director for Saint Mary’s Urgent Care Group in Reno, NV, and is involved with the Washoe County Sexual Assault Response Team and Child Protective Services. Dr. BCW is passionate about improving health literacy and advocating for underrepresented communities.
Joyce Idehen, MD
Joyce earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Prairie View A&M before completing her medical degree at the American University of Antigua. She is the Social Media Manager for Black Girl White Coat, a nonprofit that mentors and motivates underrepresented minorities in medicine.
Sidney Hankerson, MD, MBA
Dr. Sidney Hankerson is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Community Engagement in the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai and Director of Mental Health Equity Research. His work focuses on reducing racial disparities in mental health, particularly among Black men. He serves on the NFL’s Mental Wellness Committee, is a 2nd opinion physician for the NBA, and was recognized by the National Academy of Medicine as an emerging leader in health.
Lisa Fitzpatrick
Dr. Lisa Fitzpatrick is a board-certified infectious diseases physician and medical epidemiologist with a background in public health. She is the founder and CEO of Grapevine Health, a digital health media company focused on improving patient engagement among Medicaid patients through culturally relevant health information.
Eric Meredith
Chef Eric Paul is a classically trained chef, Registered Dietitian, Certified Personal Trainer, and expert in chronic disease prevention with over 15 years of experience. His work has been featured on major networks like ABC, CBS, and ESPN. Through his nonprofit, Health Heroes, he uses entertainment and technology to make health information more engaging for youth. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a board member of 100 Black Men of Chicago.
Dr. Brenda Faye Merriweather
Dr. Brenda Merriweather is a Clinical Nurse Specialist who recently earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Walden University. With a deep passion for improving care for individuals with Sickle Cell Disease, she has held several key roles in prominent healthcare institutions, including Baptist Health System, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Johns Hopkins University, and the National Institutes of Health.

William A. Cooper is the former founding Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at WellStar Health Systems in Marietta, Georgia, and Associate Professor of surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Joseph M. Coney, MD, FACS, FASRS
