Solange, the singer, mother and younger sister of Beyonce’, got married on Sunday, November 16, in a beautiful white wedding in New Orleans. Upon leaving the venue, Solange was spotted with unfortunate red lumps all over her face and neck, something which TMZ later attributed to a food allergy.
Her superstar sibling was on hand to help and appeared to be comforting her, covering her up in the back of the vehicle.
A source told TMZ: ‘Solange suffered some kind of food allergy, though she isn’t sure what it was from….the hives were gone in a matter of minutes.’
In addition to allergic reactions to medications, foods or other substances, hives may be triggered by direct physical stimulation such as temperature extremes, water, sun and physical exercise.

Having a viral infection can also cause an outbreak of hives, and even stress and nervousness have been associated with hives outbreaks.
In the form of hives known as dermographia, or “skin writing,” raised, itchy red welts with adjacent flares appear wherever the skin is scratched or where belts and other articles of clothing rub against the skin.
Luckily for Solange, it seems her allergic breakout only occurred at the end of the ceremony and didn’t ruin her day.
Solange gushed about her day on Instagram, sharing intimate pictures from the ceremony and a video of a very special dance off with her 10-year-old.
She wrote:
“Yesterday, I had the best day of my life and ended it with an abundance of peace, love over flowing through me like never before. Words only understate the feelings I experienced, but I want to thank you for all of your beautiful sentiments. I’m now one, with the one.”
“Last but not least….:) Shout out to Benadryl yo, lol. NOTHING was gonna stop me from having my mother and son dance with Julez. My baby killed it and will forever remain my favorite dance parter of all time. My heart will forever smile reliving the feeling our lil happy feet together.”
