Why You Need To Change Your Tooth Brush Now

As you probably already know, brushing your teeth is very important.

Brushing your teeth helps remove food and plaque (a sticky white film that forms on your teeth and contains bacteria). The bacteria that can be found in plaque attacks your tooth enamel after you eat a meal. This can lead to cavities.

If the plaque isn’t removed, it can harden and turn into tartar, which makes it harder to keep your teeth clean and can lead to inflammation that causes gum disease.

In this informative Q&A session, Dr. Candance Mitchell further dives into the importance of brushing your teeth and how to do so properly by answering some of our most reader-requested health questions.
