Reducing rates of HIV is a global concern. On World AIDS Day, December 1st, people worldwide come together in the fight against HIV/AIDS and to show support for those living with HIV/AIDS.
In the latest HIV statistics from the government agency Public Health England, more than 94 percent of people newly diagnosed with HIV in the United Kingdom (U.K.) over the past 10 years acquired their infection through sexual contact. One in three people accessing HIV care in the U.K. are now age 50 or over.
These facts and more are featured in a World AIDS Day video from UK online retailer Carvaka.
