Actor and singer, Tyrese Gibson, just went through a three-hour surgery and had his two leading ladies, his daughter and his wife, right by his side the whole time.
The "Fast & Furious" star didn't name his ailment but posted a picture in the hospital, with his daughter embracing him.
"By my side...My Amazing wife and Daughter has been by my side every step of the way," Tyrese posted on Instagram. "When it comes down to the real stuff no one is ever there but family."

Earlier in the week, Tyrese posted a photo and caption that read, "Headed into surgery am I nervous? Yeah I am, I won't lie...... So I had to spend some time with the little homie Roman....... While prepping for surgery, Tyrese did a quick video and montage of photos that said, "The number 11 is my lucky number so I already feel blessed...," referring to his operating room number.

A nasogastric tube (NG tube) may be in place with certain types of surgery. This tube is put into the nose and stomach during surgery. It helps drain fluids from your stomach.
Pain and Discomfort
Many patients are most concerned about avoiding pain after surgery. It is normal to have pain in the surgical area. Pain medication is available, and you should take it when you feel you need it.
If you had general anesthesia, your throat may feelsore. This is from the breathing tube that was inserted during surgery.
