In a statement, Lewis Kay, Morgan’s spokesperson, said:
“While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go. He and Megan wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him.”
The crash was fatal for Morgan’s friend and fellow comedian James McNair. Three other passengers were seriously injured.
Kevin Roper, the Walmart truck driver who caused the crash, was speeding before the crash according to a preliminary report released yesterday by the National Transportation Safety Board.
