National parks provide the perfect opportunity to meet your daily step goals. If you’re looking for a good hike, the Cape Cod National Seashore allows you to enjoy twelve walking trails from January to December.

You’ll find the Eastham and Wellfleet Trails, Truro and Provincetown Trails, and Bicycle Trails all with different features that will get you more acquainted with the versatility of the National Seashore.

Salt Pond Visitor Center is open year-round and gives you the chance to chat with rangers and enjoy ranger-guided programs.

4. Bask in the Beauty of the Natural Surroundings 

Experience the natural beauty of the Cape’s coast by going on a tour of the Dunes. The Cape Cod sand dunes boast over 4,000 acres of historic land for you to explore. You’ll have a chance to drive up a sand trail, roll through subtle bodies of water, and soak up the vast terrain when you go on the Art’s Dune Tour.

5. Relax on the Beaches 

Beach time! Cape Cod national seashore is home to six swimming beaches that will give you the therapeutic aquatic workout you’ve been seeking. You can stop by Nauset Light Beach, Marconi Beach, Coast Guard Beach, Head of the Meadow Beach, Race Point Beach, and Herring Cove Beach.

With a campfire permit, you can relax in front of a bonfire while hearing the waves crashing to the historic shores. Sounds good, right? Do your research before going to make sure you are fully prepared!
