walls and bookshelves so they are a constant reminder of joy and delight. Love your mother? Place a photo of her by your bedside so you feel that she’s closer to you. Constant reminders of times when you were at peace or had balance are important and needed day-in and day-out.
5. Colors Mean Things
Take a look around. Do you have a lot of deep and dark colors around you? Subconsciously, you may not even notice. The colors you gravitate to are a mirror of how you’re feeling on the inside. Need a pick me up? Paint your room or home white or a bright color. The endorphins from the color change will lighten both your room and your mood.
6. Scent Is Important
This is often overlooked. We tend to want to go straight to commercial air fresheners and perfumes but have you ever thought about eliminating any smells before covering them up? Smells come from mildew, outdated infrastructure, garbage, and residue. Try to find the source and fix it. If this proves to be a challenge, try bringing a living plant into your space or home. The oxygen from the plant will neutralize and naturally clean the air to help you breathe better.
