While ColourPop may have fell unintentionally short on their naming convention, it brings a serious ongoing issue of diversity within the beauty industry to light.
The amount of ignorance that still exists when it comes to skin tone is clear in these types of situations. It leaves us to wonder if there are any people of color in leadership at ColourPop for them to have made such a glaring racially offensive mistake.
Until then we should take this as an opportunity to support our community and the brands that we offer to benefit our different and beautiful hair and skin.
