Actress Shari Headley: Coming Into Her Own

… the first family of comedy. “I have to credit the Wayans. They kept me employed. They’ve all been very supportive. They’re like family.”

Three things can be learned from Shari’s heartwarming story:
1. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. It can give you a new perspective.
2. Involve God into your plan. He’s the ultimate way maker.
3. Family first. When you focus on what matters most, things will come together.

Although she’s been able to live out her dream, real life is still what matters most to Headley, not the figments of someone’s imagination.

Shari not only continues to act, most recently on Oprah Winfrey’s network OWN in the hit show, “The Haves and the Have Nots”, she volunteers her time to help at-risk young girls focus on the future and steer away from drugs, alcohol and other bad influences early. That’s where Headley says is her true love.
