In an Instagram Story, the “Sticky” rapper revealed that his Young Money reunion performance with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, which was scheduled for Monday, has been postponed due to a positive COVID test.
“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible,” Drake, 35 wrote, apologizing for the last-minute announcement. “I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked.”
If you recall, this isn’t the first time the rapper has caught COVID. Last year, the 35-year-old Toronto native opened up about COVID causing him to lose his hair.
“I had COVID, that sh** grew in weird I had to start again [laughing cry face emoji],” Drake wrote in response to the Instagram post questioning his hair. “It’s coming back don’t diss.”

The Young Money reunion performance was set to take place at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage as part of Drake’s October World Weekend festival, which was scheduled to run from July 28 to Aug. 1. It would have been the first time in seven years that all three superstars performed together.
On Thursday, Drake surprised fans with an appearance from Candian artist Nelly Furtado during “All Candian North Stars” night, which took place at the rapper’s History nightclub. This was Furtado’s first live performance in five years.

Fans that attended Friday night’s October World Weekend got to witness Chris Brown and Lil Baby perform on the Budweiser Stage as part of their One of Them Ones Tour.
Drake, Minaj, 39, and Lil Wayne, 39, first appeared together on 2009’s “BedRock” alongside Gudda Gudda, Tyga, Jae Millz and Lloyd. They’ve since collaborated on several other songs including 2014’s “Only” with Brown, 33, and “Truffle Butter” as well as 2021’s “Seeing Green”, according to PEOPLE.
