Isabella Strahan, who recently made headlines after her groundbreaking interview about her cancer diagnosis, has shared a cute picture with her twin sister, Sophia, on her Instagram page. The duo posted a picture and a video with the caption, "Us again 👭."
During her recent interview on Good Morning America, the daughter of NFL legend Michael Strahan joined her father to reveal that she is currently undergoing treatment for a brain tumor that is known as medulloblastoma.
"I literally think that, in a lot of ways, I'm the luckiest man in the world, because I've got an amazing daughter… I know she's going through it, but I know that we're never given more than we can handle and that she is going to crush this." Strahan said in the interview with Good Morning America.
Isabella began the treatment for the tumor in October of 2023. This is the first time she is opening up about her journey.
Isabella has remained very positive throughout her battle with cancer. Isabella continues to keep busy by being enrolled as a student at the University of Southern California and modeling.
Despite facing a challenging diagnosis, she has managed to keep her head high and maintain a positive attitude. With her large platform, she has used her personal experience to inspire and help others who may be going through similar struggles.
“With my platform, I hope to just kind of be a voice and be a person who people who maybe are going through something similar, going through chemotherapy or radiation, can look at and just hear and just watch, or find something interesting about their day," she told Good Morning America. "I'm just excited for that,” she continued.

According to the National Cancer Institute, medulloblastoma is a brain tumor that forms at the “bottom part of the brain located at the back of the skull” and typically impacts children. About 70 percent of cases occur among children.
Isabella's situation could have been much worse if she had not detected the early symptoms of her fast-spreading tumor. Fortunately, her attentive nature allowed her to recognize the initial symptoms, which she initially associated with vertigo.
“That’s when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, couldn’t walk straight,” Isabella explained. Thanks to her quick response and timely medical attention, she was able to receive the necessary treatment. Other symptoms to look out for when it comes to medulloblastoma include head bobbing, confusion, and tiredness.
It is extremely important for Black Americans to act early when it comes to seeking treatment for these tumors. In a recent study, it was found that Black people with medulloblastoma brain tumors are at a higher risk of dying than people of other races.
To determine whether there is any growth present in the brain, a neurologist can schedule an MRI with you to be able to determine whether treatment is required. Like many other cancers, early detection is important.
Throughout this journey, she has expressed her unwavering focus on her ultimate goal, which is to overcome her illness and emerge stronger and healthier. “I’m very happy to finally heal my head after all of this because the side effects and everything get to you,” she shared.
Her sister Sophia has also expressed love and support in a separate Instagram post. She captioned a photo set with “I’m so lucky to have the most amazing sister and best friend in the world. The last few months have been so much harder than we could have ever imagined, but it’s made me realize just how strong you are. You inspire me and I’m so proud of you. Us forever 💞”
Wishing Isabella a speedy recovery and wishing her a bright future!
