Israel’s father, Nate Stinson, says that he has not given up hope.
“I do feel like it’s getting harder, but we made it this far and made it farther than anyone else,” Stinson told CBS Sacramento. “I believe that God is with us, and we are going to keep pushing on.”
The case is similar to the battle over Jahi McMath, a 13-year-old girl who underwent a tonsillectomy and tissue removal at Children’s Hospital in Oakland, California, to treat sleep apnea. The family still says that she’s alive but doctors don’t believe so.
As with Jahi, we will have to wait and see what will happen.
