Tears! Cancer Patient Gets Wedding Of Her Dreams

cancerLike most brides, Nicole Moore Zimmerman wanted the perfect wedding day: the man of her dreams waiting at the alter, the perfect dress, flawless hair, etc. But unlike other brides, cancer changed her plans. She was diagnosed with renal carcinoma, kidney cancer.

Renal cell carcinoma, also known as hypernephroma, is a kidney cancer that originates in the lining of the proximal convoluted tubule, a part of the very small tubes in the kidney that transport waste molecules from the blood to the urine.

Nicole lost her hair during chemotherapy and was met with disappointment when a contest for a custom wig fell through, FOX 26 reports. Mr. A, from Defining Your Own Beauty Foundation, became Nicole's "hair angel" when he heard about her story and made sure Nicole had a beautiful custom wig through chemo and most importantly for her wedding day.
