It is a scientific fact that aging is a part of life. But no one wants to show signs of getting older. You may have heard the saying, ‘An apple a day keeps the doctor away.’ Well, an apple a day can also keep aging at bay. Apples are packed with vitamin C, which increases your skin’s cell production, giving you a warm and radiant glow.

Blueberries contain vitamins A and C and age-defying antioxidants, which may prevent collagen loss by protecting your skin against sun damage, pollution, and stress.

Among chocolate lovers, there is always room for chocolate. The high anti-aging antioxidants flavonoids in dark chocolate help protect skin inflammation caused by harmful UV Rays. Mangoes are full of antioxidants and contain high vitamin C, supporting your skin’s collagen production, preventing sun damage and aging. The potassium and vitamin E work together to hydrate cells, improve your skin tone, and keep skin moisturized.

Olive oil is a healthy fat, full of Omega-3s, which help prevent wrinkles. A study shows that signs of sun damage were significantly decreased by people who consumed olive oil.

The Omega-3 fatty acids in this fish help your skin stay moisturized while keeping wrinkles and fine lines away. A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition concluded that people who ate 5-ounces or more Omega-3 fatty fish per week lowered the development of pre-cancerous skin lesions by almost 30 percent.

You cannot prevent yourself from aging, but you may control the appearance of aging by eating to look and feel youthful from the inside out.
