Will Juicing Really Get You A Summer Six Pack?

Woman drinking juiced vegetables.

Are you thinking about juicing to achieve your summer goals?

As we all know, there’s nothing like dieting and exercising to get the beach body and healthy lifestyle we desire.

In recent years, juicing has become a huge phenomenon. It has built its way to change lives all over the world.

People such as Vegan Youtubers, and many others have changed the view of juicing into something great and inspiring.

According to the HungryForChange.tv, here are some key takeaways from juicing.

Juicing allows us to absorb a large serving of vegetables and fruits

Juicing can be the key to giving you a radiant, energetic life and truly optimal health. Dr. Mercola typically buys up to 20 pounds of raw vegetables per week and juices a few pounds per day.

Some people may find eating that many vegetables are difficult. But it can be easily accomplished with a quick glass of vegetable juice.

Juicing is an easy way to absorb nutrients from summer vegetables.

This is important because most of us have impaired digestion. As a result, many of us have been making less-than-optimal food choices over many years.

This limits your body's ability to absorb all the nutrients in an optimal way. Juices go straight to your bloodstream. This carries all the nutrients to where they are needed the most by the body without further delay as indigestion.

Juicing can help you add a wider variety of vegetables to your summer diet.

Many people eat the same vegetable salads every day.

This goes against the principle of regular food rotation. It increases your chance of developing an allergy to a certain food. But with juicing, you can juice a wide variety of vegetables that you may not normally enjoy eating whole.

Juicing is also an incredibly effective way to cleanse the body for summer.

If you're looking for a great cleanser, green juices are a great option!

Green juices contain high levels of chlorophyll. It's a powerful phytonutrient that attaches to toxins and heavy metals. Chlorophyll helps remove them from your body. It also increases your blood's oxygen-carrying capacity by stimulating red blood cell production.

Sounds great! Right?

Let’s play devil’s advocate for a second.

As much as I LOVE juicing, sometimes we lose focus on the long-term goals we set for ourselves.

For example, if someone chooses to juice to lose weight they must remember a part of dieting includes exercise.

Discipline is key. If we solely depend on juicing our bodies we neglect toning, building, and actively moving our bodies to maintain the weight we desire to lose.

I know, I know. You may wonder, “is juicing still good for you?” My answer will always remain the same, “yes”. We just need to remind ourselves that exercise and juicing go hand in hand and the results are endless. Healthy living requires disciplining our bodies and becoming the best version of ourselves daily.
