2. Aspen, Colorado

Renowned for world-class skiing, Aspen is also an incredible place when the slopes are less slick. During summer months, visitors love to hit the meandering trails and take in the stunning Maroon Bells mountain peaks.

Another great thing about Aspen, Colorado, is the wellness culture. The city knows how to treat the body, filled with holistic healers, yoga studios, and spa therapies you’ll love!

Get fresh and rejuvenated in no time.

3. Acadia National Park, Maine

Another national park – this one off the coast of Maine – Acadia National Park is an absolute gem for wilderness and wellness enthusiasts. The beauty of Acadia is its ideal blend of forests, mountains, and coastline. At Cadillac Mountain, the highest on the East Coast, the sunsets and sunrises are hard to beat. Elsewhere, the crisp air and foaming waves are ideal for getting your mentality right.

Highly recommended!

4. Lake Tahoe, California/Nevada

A pristine alpine lake framed by gorgeous mountains, Lake Tahoe is your go-to destination for water sports. Like to kayak? Wanna try paddleboarding? How about a refreshing swim or day fishing? If you want to stay off the water, you can always just hike around and enjoy the picturesque views. It’s quite the place to connect your innermost self and create memories that last.

You can’t go wrong with life on the Lake.

5. Jackson Hole, Wyoming

You probably don’t commonly think of Jackson Hole when you think of stunning landscapes and outdoor adventures. However, this area of the country might just be the perfect space for honing your body and mind. At Grand Teton National Park, plenty of activities await. Aside from scenic drives, ‘retail therapy’ at the Town Square, national museums, and more, Jackson Hole is also great for – you guessed it – moose sights!

But hey, even if watching moose, elk, bison, and other wildlife ain’t your thing, you’ll still find plenty to do at the numerous holistic offerings of this wellness-centric destination!

6. Sedona, Arizona

Want to find your spirit?

Riddled with red rock formations unlike anywhere else, Sedona, Arizona, is steeped in lore. Tourists and locals speak of spiritual healing, and how the geographical structures themselves can restructure your spirit.

Skeptical? Well, at the very least you’ll get to give it a try. From energy healing sessions to yoga and ‘vortex sites,’ the spiritual power of Sedona is available to all. Go bouldering, enjoy a spa, do some stargazing, or visit the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. Fun times ahead!

7. Great Smoky Mountains

Across Tennessee and North Carolina, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is cherished for good reason. Filled with 800 miles of hiking trails, deep forests, natural waterfalls, and endless animal sightings, you won’t be disappointed.

Do you like tranquility? How about rugged mountains? Whitewater rafting or ziplining? From the theme park in nearby Pigeon Forge to relaxing at Clingmans Dome and Cataloochee Valley, it’s all there.

8. Ojai, California

This serene valley town is probably best known for getting the mind and body right. Ojai is particularly known for its countless ‘wellness retreats,’ musical festivals, and artisan farmer’s market. If you like outdoor recreation like picnicking, boating, and hiking, you’ll have plenty to do. Soak in the Rose Valley Falls Trail, get mindful at Meditation Mount, or spend time with fam and friends in the gorgeous Lake Casitas Recreation Area.

Whatever you do, you can’t go wrong!

So there you have it. These eight destinations are splendid escapes for anyone looking to boost both body and mind. If you wanna keep your spirit soaring and feel your best, look no further.
