We often hear of food recalls through the news and we sometimes spot product recall notices at the grocery stores. How often do we follow up and research a bit more? There are usually more items on product recall lists that don't get a primetime television feature.
What’s even worse? It’s that these are very popular everyday foods most of us enjoy. Many recalled due to contamination, mislabeling, undeclared allergens, and poisoning.

The popular company, George's Prepared Foods, largely distributed to places like Walmart and Aldi’s, recently recalled their ready-to-eat pork and turkey products due to possible salmonella contamination this year. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide. View labels here.

Tip Top Poultry, Inc. recalled their ready-to-eat poultry products due to possible listeria contamination. The frozen cooked, diced or shredded, “RTE” chicken products were produced between January 21, 2019 and September 24, 2019.
