In case you missed it, this trend is all about Black healthcare professionals sharing their stories and showcasing their expertise in the medical field in a fun, unique way. We're seeing Black doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals sharing their experiences, their challenges, and their triumphs. It's a wonderful opportunity for many of us to learn more about the healthcare industry and the incredible people who work tirelessly to care for their patients. We've gathered some of the most informative and captivating videos featuring these amazing professionals.

For the Doctors

DrChi recently joined the trend to talk about the difficulties Black women doctors encounter while pursuing their profession. She highlights student loan debt, which most medical professionals can relate to, as well as the racism and microaggressions she faces in the field.

For the ER Doctors

We have to take a moment to salute the hard work of our emergency room doctors. These doctors deal with unexpected and unimaginable situations daily, and we are grateful for their dedication and passion.

It is heartwarming to listen to their stories about how they ensure that every child under their care feels comfortable and cared for.

For the RN’s

For the Plastic Surgeons

A TikTok user named breastsnbodydoc shared a video that we believe will resonate with all of the plastic surgeons out there.

In the clip, the user sheds light on the advantages and the few drawbacks of being a Black woman in the field of plastic surgery. It is heartening to see more Black plastic surgeons entering the profession and we hope to see even more!

For the future Occupational Therapists

A group of Howard University students studying Occupational Therapy decided to put a unique spin on the trend, offering us a glimpse into their preparation to become future Doctors of Occupational Therapy! They had a lot of fun discussing what they learned and how they are using their skills both inside and outside the classroom. We are excited to see what the future holds for these rising doctors!
