(HealthDay News) — Migraine headache pain can be debilitating enough to prevent you from working and performing other daily activities.
While medications can help ease the pain, the American Academy of Family Physicians offers these additional suggestions:
- Lie down and rest in a quiet room with the lights out.
- Apply a cool, damp rag or a cool compress to your forehead.
- Firmly massage your scalp.
- Apply pressure to your temples.
