Masturbating Can Do More For Your Body Than Just Making You Feel Good

an anxiety attack because of how it relaxes you afterward. It can also help prevent the risk of developing cancer, specifically in men.

How Men And Women Benefit From Masturbating

When it comes to the benefits of getting yourself off, men and women can both benefit from it in many ways. As previously stated, masturbating can help with getting yourself to relax and make you feel good as well as lowering your stress levels because of the chemicals that are being released when you have an orgasm.

Yes, you can experience an orgasm with a partner, but let’s focus on the safest way to have sex and its benefits. So not only does masturbating help with relaxing you and uplifting your mood, but for women, masturbating can help relieve period cramps and pains. It can also help women stay STD-free (if they are masturbating alone) since women are more susceptible to developing an STD when having sex.

For men, masturbating can help prevent prostate cancer. According to Hopkinsmedicine.org, studies show that men who ejaculate more are less likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer by two-thirds. This is because ejaculation supposedly rids the body of toxins and other elements that can cause inflammation.

Remember, Too Much Of Anything Can Lead To Complications

As good and beneficial as masturbating can be, too much of it can cause complications, one example is addiction. You can develop an unhealthy obsession with masturbating, which can lead to many downfalls in your life such as loss of friends, family, partners, and even job opportunities, yes it can be that drastic.

Masturbating too much, too often can also lead to irritation or infections (not the same as an STD) if your body reacts a certain way to how you are masturbating or what you are using to masturbate with.

All in all, as long as you are doing it in a healthy way and of course, being mindful of how and how often you are pleasing yourself, masturbating is great and totally normal and healthy to do. Not only can it take you to new heights but it can also prevent you from future risks.
