Officials say the contaminant originated with an incoming ingredient and was discovered during production.
“There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products,” the USDA said in a statement. “Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.”
Customers who purchased the recalled products are urged not to consume them. Officials say the product should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
